- Catena Media projects Q2 revenues declining due to Google Updates. They’re projecting between 12.5 and 13.5M€ in revenues, (-20% YoY) and adjusted ebitda to be between 0.5M€ and 1.5M€. They reiterated its forecast of a return of revenue growth in second half of the year.

- A recent study unveiled … 860 illegal operators are aiming the US and they’re helped by 638 affiliates.
- Portugal posts record online gambling revenue in Q1, with 260,9M€ and now counts more than 1,1M players.
- NextIo tackles the B2B market and trends. For most of the providers, the “US are losing its appeal”. For some, it’s already too late to aim Brazil … Concerning Africa, EveryMatrix explains that the internet speed is probably the main limit now, on top of the betting amount, that is quite smaller than others markets (such as the US)
- Spanish online gambling rose to a quarterly record of 350,7M€, helped by online sports betting increased by 15% (up to 150,3M€). Casino also knew an increase of 17% (up to 167,76M€)

The Japanese market is lucrative and looks promising with the adaptation of traditional forms of gambling to online. Nowadays, it’s not explicitly legal for Japanese companies to run online casinos or online betting on horse races, bicycle races, motorcycle races and motorboat races. M&A Moves
- OLGB’s brand will appear on the matchday and training kit of the Lion Gribraltar FC under a new multi-year partnership.
- Adventure Box Technologies is entering the real money iGaming Sector after agreeing a deal to acquire the service provider Lion Gaming Group for approx 41.9M€
- GIG signed a deal to acquire Titan, the holding company of Atlas SEO, a supplier of SEO and content services. They aim to reduce by up to 50% their SEO and content costs. Acquisition was set at 3.2M€, and the deal is expected to close in July.

- Casinoreports published an article on the lattest SEO update impacting the affiliation industry, and mainly on its impact on GDC, Catena and BC:
- GDC : they’re anticipating -8% in revenues and -7% in Ebitda
- BC: They said it boosted their flagship, but it was “too early to assess the update impact”
- The article also disclose that most of the main stream media deals are 50/50 revenues split at the begining, and some medias re-negociated 30/70.

Alberta will become the second canadian jurisdiction to regulate online gambling. They will ape Ontario’s iGaming market as a model. Concerning the roadmap, it looks like 2025 is realistic. Alberta hosts 4.1 millions inhabitants in what looks like heaven for mountains and lake lovers.
